Hurricane Katrina banner: On this eve of the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall, take time to remember the lives lost that cannot be replaced. The Hurricane Katrina Memorial on the Biloxi Town Green, 710 Beach Blvd., lists the names of those who perished in the worst natural disaster ever to hit the United States. Hurricane Katrina sculpture: A plaque has been added to the Katrina Memorial display at the Biloxi Visitors Center, located at 1050 Beach Blvd., in tribute to the lives lost in the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The glass case contains personal items collected from the rubble in the days following the storm. To see the photos, click here.
