The A.J. Holloway Sport Complex is now open for baseball and softball field reservations through the Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department.
Any Biloxi team interested in practicing or playing games on one of the baseball or softball fields may submit a reservation to use the turf up to twice a week, Monday through Thursday, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., through Oct. 30.
Reservations should be placed by calling the sports complex at 228-388-2483.
The A.J. Holloway Sport Complex is named for the former Biloxi mayor who also was a member of the Ole Miss national championship football team. The complex is a 68-acre site south of the Popp’s Ferry and Cedar Lake roads near the Biloxi Junior High and High schools. The complex includes four softball fields, one adult baseball field and five Little League fields. The complex hosted its first event on Aug. 15, 2003.
