Reminder: Irish Hill roadwork to begin next week

City contractors on Monday are scheduled to begin re-paving the three-mile stretch of Irish Hill from Veterans to Porter Avenue

“The Irish Hill work will begin at Veterans Avenue and move eastward,” said City Engineer Damon Torricelli. “No detours are planned for any of the phases of this project, and the plan is to work on one lane at a time, so people should use an alternate route if possible.”

The Irish Hill work is part of a project that will include re-surfacing of Popp’s Ferry Road south of the Popp’s Ferry bridge and the entire Biloxi stretch of Pass Road.
