The
City of Biloxi on Sept. 3, 2003 began operating under a new
Land Development Ordinance that became public policy after
extensive public
outreach and input.
The new ordinance regulates such issues as height of new
construction, buffer zones and setbacks, and it is designed to help
residents and businessowners better understand the city's process of
land-use and zoning.
The Land Development Ordinance, which also contains the city's
Regulated-Use Ordinance, can be viewed in a PDF format by clicking on the LDO link abovet. The PDF also
contains convenient bookmarks to help you locate information quickly.
In the links above, you'll also find a link to a PDF of teh city's zoning map, which went into
effect Sept. 3, 2003 and has been updated several times. Links to the city's Height Map, and overlays for the Conention Center and East Biloxi districts also are availailable above.
This goal of having this information online is to provide you 24/7
