The City of Biloxi has launched its Majestic Tree Program in collaboration with the Tree Committee. It is a privilege and honor to designate a Majestic Tree – a distinction where individuals can have a role in carrying on the natural hetitage of Biloxi. Once designated, Majestic Trees have an extra layer of protection.
What is a majestic tree?
-Trees having or showing impressive beauty and dignity, whether cultural, historical or as a natural resource, making them worthy enough to warrant additional scrutiny in the permitting process to protect this asset for the future.
