Performs a variety of computer operations and ensuring all data is properly inputted and organized. Installs and maintains related hardware and software including, but not limited to, real time crime cameras, in-car computers and video cameras, and the like. Be responsible for supporting various construction projects through physical labor and basic equipment operation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately. Your workday will consist of a variety of tasks that often require you to work as part of a team to complete, making your communication skills and flexibility essential to this role. Installs and maintains various cameras and related systems for the Police Department. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cameras, tools and equipment. Managing the day-to-day maintenance problems with the department’s personal computers. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders or use hydraulic lift equipment to mount, install, maintain, or repair equipment. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to heights.
Education and Experience:
Graduation from a two-year college with an Associate’s Degree in business management, education, criminal justice, computer science, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of experience in a similarly situated position. Any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
Valid state driver’s license, or ability to obtain one within thirty (30) days of employment.
