Mayor A.J. Holloway recognized retiring Biloxi Planning Commission member Jerry Lamey at the City Council meeting on Oct. 21, 2008. Lamey, a native and lifelong resdent of Biloxi, served 23 years on the commission. "Word is," Holloway quipped during the meeting, "that he gave Noah a permit to build the ark."
